Hello holistic nursing community,
I just returned from the American Holistic Nurses Association's annual conference in Niagra Falls, and it was amazing! If you have not joined this organization and are interested please check out
http://www.ahna.org/. SAVE the DATE for next year's conference in Tulsa, OK from June 6-9th. AHNA has several live webinars and recorded ones that can be joined in on for CEU's and expanding knowledge, in addition to many other benefits.
For those of you who live too far away to attend a meeting in the Iowa City/North Liberty area, there are a few chapters that meet online or via Zoom. The Central Texas chapter holds every other meeting per Zoom and information can be found at
The AHNA End of Life Chapter is online and is a Facebook Group. You can request to join at https://m.facebook.com/groups/275341389294200.
The AHNA Nurse Entrepreneurs Chapter is also an online Facebook Group which additionally holds quarterly calls. The link to this group is at https://m.facebook.com/groups/479462768803842.
The Society for the Advancement of Modeling and Role-Modeling (SAMRM) will be hosting a holistic nursing conference in Bemidji, MN from September 19-21, 2018 entitled Facilitating Holistic Nursing Care Through a Cultural Lens. More information can be found at https://www.mrmnursingtheory.org/pdf/SAMRM_Conference_Brochure_Fall2018.pdf.
Have a great weekend!
